Man City shows off their attacking strength today by achieving the first victory in PL this season with 5–0 against Norwich City.

In this article, I will explain How did Man city break Norwich’s low-block.
City could score four goals from the same idea and sequence and one goal from a corner, so what is this idea?

Norwich low-block 4–3–3.
-Pukki marks Rodri.
- Rashica & Cantwell mark 2 FBs.
- RCM marks Gundogan.
-LCM marks Bernardo.
-FBs mark wingers (Grealish & Jesus).

Here Norwich’s LCM marks Bernardo in the half-space, LB moved towards G.Jesus.
And when the ball went to Walker, Bernardo moved to the center, his marker tracked him.

A big gap appeared between LCB & LB.
- Walker passes the ball to Jesus in the space behind LB.
-And he could easily play a cross to Grealish to score his first goal with Man city.

Again, In the 4th goal.
- Norwich’s low-block 4–3–3.
-Bernardo positioned at the half-space, so LCM positioned as a third CB.

-Bernardo dropped to receive pulling with him LCM & Jesus run behind Norwich’s defensive line.

Jesus easily make a cross and Sterling scored the 4th goal for City.

In the 5th goal.
Again Norwich’s 4–3–3.

Bernardo dropped to the flanks to receive, LCM again tracked him.
-Half-space now is open for Maherz’s movement.
-Long pass behind Norwich’s defensive line and Mahrez scored the last goal for City.

Impressive performance from City but it still against Norwich, Farke didn’t show any reaction for Pep’s idea, also they didn’t create any problem for City especially in attacking transition.
